William P. White is an industry professional with over thirty years of experience as an underwriter, consultant and regulator. Bill began his career as a primary insurance underwriter with INA and Royal-Globe Insurance. His reinsurance experience includes facultative and treaty underwriting officer positions with General Re and Munich Re companies. As a Consulting Director with Milliman & Robertson, Bill developed a consulting practice that included strategic planning, new company formation and merger and acquisition analysis.
During his tenure as Director of the Captive Insurance Division for the Department of Insurance Securities and Banking in Washington DC, Bill utilized his background in the alternative risk transfer (ART) market to develop DC into a leading domestic domicile for captive insurance business.
Bill holds an Associate in Reinsurance designation from the Insurance Institute of America, a MBA from New York University and is a graduate of Dartmouth College.
